Far Cry 6: How to Slide 200m to Unlock Slip Sliding Away Trophy/Achievement
The Far Cry series gifts the player with a lot of tools at their disposal. After all, the series has always been something of a Rambo power fantasy and more so than ever in Far Cry 6. Especially as the lead character Dani, whether one is playing as a male or a female, is already an experienced soldier and fighter that only improves as a killing machine as the game progress. One of the simplest yet effective tools in Dani's arsenal is the sliding mechanic. It allows them to slip away into grass undetected and get to cover with speed and finesse.
Of course, sometimes it's just a lot of fun to slide all over the place without any apparent reason. What better way to mess around with the sliding mechanic than trying to obtain the Far Cry 6 "Slip Sliding Away" Achievement/Trophy. This trophy will pop when the player has slid for a total of 200 meters in one go. This can be a lot trickier than it sounds, but that's where this guide can help.
Obtaining The Slip Sliding Away Achievement
To get this achievement to pop with immediate effect, the player needs to make their way to one of the highest points in the game located in the province of Noventarmas in Valle de Oro.
Finding Banderos Mountain
The player should make their way to Bandoleros Mountain. It is southwest of Hideout Danzon, a Guerrilla Hideout that can be unlocked as a fast travel location using the camp upgrades.
The Banderos Mountain is hard to miss, but it can be a bit daunting trying to figure out where the climbing points are. The player should make their way southwest of the mountain until they find a workbench. To the right of the workbench, there is a grapple point to ascend the mountain.
At the top, the player should walk around the side of the mountain until they find a path with two signs warning people not to slip. Naturally, that's an invitation to do the complete opposite.
Ignoring the warning signs and get some distance from the slip path. Then, sprint towards the ledge by clicking the LS button. Once the player is close enough to the ledge, they should quickly press the B button on Xbox or Circle on PlayStation.
This initiates a slide, and Dani will continue to gather speed until they reach the bottom but don't worry, this action won't injure the protagonist.
Once the player reaches the bottom of the mountain, the Achievement/Trophy will pop. However, one should be aware there may be wild animals waiting to attack at the bottom.
