Far Cry 6 has various Materials and Resources for players to collect while exploring Yara. There are two categories of resources: Resolver and Camp. Some examples include gunpowder and durable plastic (Resolver), which can be used to craft Resolver Weapons. Others are metal and medicine (Camp), which are needed to build and improve Camp Facilities.

Unlike Resolver Resources, animal pelts in Far Cry 6 cannot be exchanged for Camp Resources. This means metal and medicine can only be obtained through hijacking convoys or looting FND bases.

Where to find Metal

Metal is used with medicine or gasolina to build certain camp facilities. One such facility requires 60 Metal and 60 Gasolina. This means players will want to know what Resources to look for and where to find them.

FND Bases (Outposts)

Anyone who plays Far Cry is familiar with Outposts. Metal can be found and gathered at the Military Targets scattered throughout Yara. Much like farming gunpowder in FC6, farming metal can also be done at FND bases.

In addition, certain Military Targets will offer Metal as a reward. These FND Bases are:

• FND 2nd Armor Division
• Maria Marquessa
• Roca Pequena Sat Station
• McKay Global Acid Plant
• Sureno Shipyards
• F.I. Escudo Steel Plant

Hijacking Convoys

Another way to farm metal is to hijack convoys. Players can easily gain 20 Metal by salvaging them. However, if they don't mind going the extra mile, convoys can be taken to Vehicle Pickup. Instead of 20 Metal, they'll be given 50 Metal.

Players want to keep an eye on the minimap for the Convoy Symbol, which is a white truck inside a red diamond.

Guerrilla Caches at Guerrilla Hideouts

This requires players to already have the Guerrilla Hideout Network upgraded to the Enhanced Hideout Network. Through this, they will be able to open a Guerrilla Cache that farms all Camp Resources (metal, medicine, gasolina).

The Importance of Camp Facilities

Any enhancements made on the Camp Facilities can be done at Construction Desks in Guerrilla Camps.

Players will want to upgrade their Camp Facilities. Certain facilities will increase the number of fast travel locations while another will give players access to special weapons. The Guerilla Garrison costs 60 Metal and 60 Gasolina, but the payoffs will be worth the investment. Building and upgrading this facility will locate alarm systems in outposts and other enemy territories, which can be useful for FC6's stealth mechanics.
