Despite New World having some difficulties, the game is still going strong in terms of player numbers. The number of concurrent players dwindled a bit over the past three days, likely because of the fact that trading in New World was disabled to prevent Gold duping, which is a serious offense that Amazon Game Studios tackled with permanent bans against cheaters. Still, there is some positivity left within the community, enough for several players to enjoy the game for what it is - an MMO where everyone is at liberty of playing as they please.
