Catching Pokemon is an essential and key point in the Pokemon series. Over time, different types of Poke Balls were added to gameplay to make it easier for trainers to catch wild Pokemon. In Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl and its remakes, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, players can use several different types of Poke Balls for catching Pokemon.
