The original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a classic of the hack-and-slash genre, though it remained trapped on the sixth generation consoles for the longest time. But in a surprise move, Black Isle Studios re-released Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for modern consoles last year, adding support for 4K resolution and modern features like achievements without quite going as far as fully remastering the game. After the re-release of Dark Alliance, the next question was when the sequel would arrive, and now it's been confirmed that Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is indeed getting a re-release.
