One of the most popular gameplay elements of farming simulator Stardew Valley is the ability to find love with one of 12 bachelors and bachelorettes living in Pelican Town. Once Stardew Valley players have chosen a spouse, said spouse moves onto their farm, allowing for further home expansions and the ability to have children. Further content updates by creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone added new features and abilities to spouses - they can now water crops, cook food, and even decorate rooms in the home to suit their own preferences.
