Star Wars is typically fantastical and whimsical in tone, even when it deals with the darker subject matter, it does so with some uplifting charm. As Star Wars stories go, however, the story of a man fresh off of betrayal by his protégé and barely surviving the elimination of his people is definitely on the grimmer side.
